This is a full-time, on-site role for a Denim Designer based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Denim Designer will conceptualize, develop, and execute unique denim designs aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and customer profile.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating design sketches
- Selecting fabrics
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for product development
- Monitoring production processes to ensure quality and style consistency
- Researching market trends
- Sourcing sustainable materials
- Innovating on fabrication techniques to shape collections that set industry benchmarks
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical design software
- Strong knowledge of textile and fabric selection, with expertise in denim design and washes
- Experience in market research, trend analysis, and concept development
- Skills in sketching, technical drawing, and constructing industry-standard tech packs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Attention to detail and exceptional design sensibility
- Prior experience in apparel product development and manufacturing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field preferred
- Understanding and application of sustainable design principles is a plus
