Advena Ltd is a UK-headquartered regulatory consultancy supporting MedTech and IVD companies with CE, UKCA, FDA submissions and ISO 13485 compliance. They’ve been around for over 20 years, but the last 5 have been particularly transformative – the team’s grown, the work has become more international, and the consultancy side has become the heartbeat of the business.
Now, they’re looking for someone to lead that heartbeat.
The role:
Consultancy Team Manager
Fully remote (UK based)
This is a key leadership role with a consultancy that’s small enough to move quickly, but experienced enough to offer serious regulatory depth. You’d be managing a 6-person consultancy team (a mix of senior and junior consultants), all focused on regulatory and quality support for a range of SME MedTech clients.
You’ll be leading from the front, not billing every hour – but setting the tone technically and culturally, guiding your team through regulatory complexity, and helping shape how Advena scales its consultancy offer in the coming years.
Looking for
- You’ve spent around 10 years (or more) in regulatory affairs & quality assurance within MedTech, and you’ve seen the inside of a CE Marking process more times than you can count.
- You’ve led teams before – not just task delegation, but mentoring, developing people, and stepping in when the pressure’s on.
- You enjoy the balance of quality and regulatory, but your sweet spot is regulatory affairs and delivery
- You’re curious, collaborative, and not afraid to challenge ideas – especially when it’s in the service of doing things better.
- You have full UK working rights and you’re based in the UK (anywhere, as the role can be fully remote).
