The scope of the Supply Planning Excellence Lead is to manage people, processes, and systems across the sub-contracting network for the Category. The Supply Planning Excellence Lead is charged with making decisions that impact mid to long term supply plans and communicating those decisions to stakeholders, as well as identifying and resolving plan variances, risks, and opportunities. This is all to be done within the Category for global markets. This role is responsible for supervising and developing the Supply Planning team. This role manages and facilitates the Supply Planning monthly and weekly processes, as well as contributing or leading special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives. This role contributes to annual and strategic planning and direction setting for the Supply Planning team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Drive for best practice Supply Planning processes with a constant challenge on the status quo.
- Develop and formalise Supply Planning processes and inputs to bring insight into key meetings.
- Support the continuous development of the supply planning function and roadmap – i.e. next generation S&OP.
- Align processes, organizational roles and technology.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning Manager on decisions on finished good inventory targets incorporating demand and supply variation factors.
- Align and optimise raw material inventory targets.
- Challenge, shape, edit and bring recommendations to support the consensus supply plan.
- Be the face of the Supply Planning team; confidently communicate with senior stakeholders and clearly summarise status to support decision making.
- Be accountable for Supply Planning team key deliverables, ensuring all transactional activities in SAP, including POs, invoicing, goods receipts are executed in a timely and flawless manner.
- Lead, design and develop insightful internal and external KPIs to drive supply excellence.
- Accountable to lead, develop and manage a collaborative planning cycle with internal functions and also CMO/CPOs to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal functions and CMO/CPO partners; pre-align on key discussions and decisions as necessary.
- Lead projects to support Indivior’s growth and efficiency agenda.
- Act as SME for supply: Support all existing and new product developments to ensure on time launches and 100% supply to patients.
- Ensure Supply Planning team strictly adheres to processes and GxP compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: University degree or similar relevant qualifications/experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Planning or similar supply chain role (pharmaceutical company preferred).
- Detailed knowledge of planning methodology.
- Experienced in subcontract manufacturing.
- Experienced in SAP and ideally IBP for supply.
- Demonstrated superuser traits of optimising system capabilities.
- Integration/divestment experience from a planning perspective desirable.
- Strong understanding of technology tools that enable supply planning and reporting.
- Ability to use technology tools that facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong business and commercial acumen and knowledge of finance, sales, manufacturing, logistics and procurement functions.
