This is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified finance professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful insight and wants to play a key role in supporting operational and commercial decision-making across a growing hospitality business. You'll work closely with Finance, Operations and Marketing teams, producing high-quality reporting, analysing business performance and helping drive informed decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Commercial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare accurate and insightful weekly Executive Board Packs, meeting strict deadlines and highlighting key trends, variances and performance drivers.
  • Produce regular commercial reporting for Operations and Marketing teams, providing clear commentary on business performance, opportunities and risks.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic business decisions.
  • Prepare weekly margin performance reporting using our Food & Beverage reporting systems.
  • Performance & Financial Support
  • Ensure accurate reporting of labour performance, including weekly and month-end activities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and latest-best-estimate processes through the preparation of schedules, data reviews and variance analysis.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial data and reporting structures across the business.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve commercial performance and profitability.
  • Business Partnering
  • Support Operations teams with performance reporting and analysis.
  • Help managers understand key financial drivers and use data to make informed decisions.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Finance, Operations and Marketing stakeholders.

We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Assistant Commercial Accountant to join our Finance team., We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly organised and enjoys working with data to solve problems and improve performance.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capability.
  • Excellent Excel skills with confidence manipulating and presenting data.
  • Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem solving.
