This September, we are launching an exciting new pub concept in the city of London (Liverpool Street) and seeking an outstanding General Manager to lead the journey from pre-opening through launch. This is a rare chance to shape a brand from the ground up.
We are looking for a true operator, commercially sharp, relentlessly standards driven, and inspiring. As General Manager, you will have full ownership of the business. You will set the tone, build the culture, and lead a high-performing team to deliver world class guest experiences on every visit. You will be equally at home on the floor, in the detail of the operation, and thinking strategically about how to grow sales, build loyalty, and establish this pub as a destination in its neighbourhood.
What you will be responsible for:
- Leading, developing and inspiring a large, multi-skilled team with clarity, warmth and purpose
- Delivering outstanding guest experiences that feel effortless, personal and consistent
- Owning all aspects of day-to-day operations, from service standards and food & drink quality to compliance and safety
- Driving strong commercial performance through effective forecasting, cost control and smart decision-making
- Recruiting, training and retaining top talent, creating clear progression pathways and a positive, inclusive culture
- Working closely with senior leadership and support teams to bring the new concept to life and evolve it post-opening
- Being a visible leader on the floor, setting standards by example and stepping in wherever needed.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General Manager or senior operator within a high-quality pub environment
- A proven track record of running successful, well-loved pubs with strong financial results
- Natural leadership presence
- Commercially astute, with a deep understanding of labour, margins, stock control and local marketing
- Passionate about hospitality, people and creating places with real personality
