Help Drive the Financial Success of a Growing Business
We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join our Finance team and take ownership of the financial management of our Cucina operation.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving performance through insightful analysis, and supporting operational teams with the information they need to make informed business decisions.

What You'll Be Doing
As Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for the day to day financial management of the Cucina site, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and effective performance analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and reconciliations.
- Producing weekly flash reports and performance updates.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process across the business.
- Conducting variance analysis and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Monitoring business costs and analysing labour and purchasing variances.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to operational leaders and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Supporting external audit requirements and preparing relevant documentation.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Managing Accounts Receivable activity, including invoicing, bank postings, allocations, and debt management.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable processes, supplier reconciliations, and payment schedules.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Experience
- Experience in a Management Accounting or Finance Manager position.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems.
