Job Title: PRODUCT MANAGER

Reporting to: SD / GENERAL Manager
Purpose
Key Responsibilities
- Is responsible for the commercial identity of the store.
- Analyse the performance of the store/department (Clothes, Tempe and Perfumes) in order to ensure the achievement of sales targets, using the appropriate analysis tools and planning the correct strategy.
COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE AND ANALYSIS:
- Analyse sales data for the Store and adjust strategies as necessary to maximise sales.
- Plan the strategy for the store with the Store Director/General Manager on a weekly basis.
- Oversee the store plan and layouts to enhance commercial strategy and optimise the customer shopping experience.
- Work alongside the Regional and National Team ensuring that all Country strategies are implemented according to your customer profile by planning and organising workshops in store.
- In depth knowledge of all commercial applications: Retail app, Merchan app, Alert exposition, Itx stock, Deliveries app, Money mapping.
- Prepare and lead official in store visits evaluating sales potential, and providing strategy feedback and product needs.
- Work closely with OPS Managers to synchronise visual strategies with promotional activities, product launches.
- Follow up on stock management by revising and leading the proposals for backstocks in line with the weekly strategy.
- Control product levels in the store and communicate with Senior Management and Spain PM if any products are needed.
- Ensure scheduling is done for the Commercial Team in Orquest in line with company guidelines.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING STRATEGY:
- Develop and execute the visual merchandising strategy to align with brands identity, market trends and business goals.
- Ensure seasonal planning is reflected on the shop floor according to the commercial calendar and Company strategies following season trends and market needs.
- Identify and implement creative and visual ideas for the store, manage in store furniture, lighting and internal mannequins in order to maintain high standards of image.
- Ensure windows are up to standards and propose changes when necessary.
- Keep up to date with the latest fashion trends and participate in Fashionista projects.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT:
- Responsible for the training and development of the Commercial team by ensuring that regular feedback, reviews and adequate training is given.
- Identify and develop potentials within the store and manage succession plans with the relevant follow up on LEAP.
- Lead and keep a high level of motivation within the team.
- Daily commercial updates with the team to ensure they are informed, engaged and equipped to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Responsible for all payroll processes and comply with deadlines.
- Ensure that all ER processes are followed according to the company policy in managing formal and informal meetings, sickness and absence.
- Be an ambassador in the company’s sustainability project and ensure that the store upholds and works towards finding new, innovative and economically reductive ways to be sustainable.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE:
- Lead by example and contribute to the highest standards of customer service across the store.
- Deep understanding of customer behaviour and profile, and take actions to improve the product knowledge of the team to increase sales and achieve commercial goals.
- Be able to solve and manage customer issues and escalate to the customer service team if necessary.
- Actively participate in all actions to improve Customer Experience.
SECURITY PROCEDURES:
- Support to ensure security and funds management procedures are followed rigorously by all employees in the store and all relevant documentation has been signed.
- Support with the organisation of the security team and all procedures related.
- Open and close cash desk and give support to cash desk team.
- Monitor cash discrepancies level and report to line management.
- Oversee the banking procedures and follow up any incident reported by L&P Department.
- Support with the request of change and follow up accordingly.
- Support with all store security procedures to minimise stock loss and support action plans accordingly.
H & S:
- Be aware of the risks employees and customers are exposed to and be aware of safe work practices and company procedures to overcome them.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all areas in the store and be able to use the HS Net app to report accidents.
Experience and qualifications:
- Previous fashion retail experience essential.
- Experience in Merchandising, preferably in a similar environment.
- A fashion/textile design qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Proven record of creating and implementing successful commercial actions.
Skills and Attitudes:
- Passionate about fashion.
- Ability to lead by example, motivate and develop the team.
- Ability to demonstrate commerciality involving current trends and forecasting future trends.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building partnerships, managing conflict and influencing others.
- High level of numeracy, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong knowledge of Keynote, with the ability to design and deliver visually compelling presentations.
- Ability to drive change: open minded, flexible, adaptable, oriented to results, embraces technology and innovation.
- Resilient and able to handle pressure and react quickly to situations, making timely decisions in challenging conditions/circumstances.
