The Senior Recruitment Lead – Sales Assistant Hiring is responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, technical delivery, and operational execution of all Sales Assistant recruitment across UK & Ireland stores, including existing stores, new openings, and high‑volume peak trading periods. This is a senior, hands‑on recruitment role, with accountability for recruitment delivery, standards, forecasting, systems, and outcomes for Sales Assistant hiring. The role requires a strong balance of technical recruitment expertise, people leadership, organisation, and forward planning, operating confidently in a fast‑paced retail environment where priorities can change quickly. The role ensures recruitment activity is delivered accurately, efficiently, and at pace, while maintaining a high‑quality, inclusive candidate and stakeholder experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the full recruitment lifecycle for Sales Assistant roles, from workforce planning and attraction through to offer and onboarding.
- Deliver recruitment for existing stores, new store openings, refurbishments, relocations, and peak trading periods.
- Plan, manage, and oversee high‑volume interview schedules, assessment activity, and recruitment events.
- Ensure recruitment delivery meets agreed timelines, quality standards, and operational requirements.
