This is a full-time position based in the London Head Office, reporting to the Head of Transport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various departments and obtain information related to shipments from the UE to the UK or from the UK to the EU.
  • Point of contact with the Spanish Transport Headquarters and Distribution Centres in Spain when the broker in the UK requests missing data.
  • Point of contact for the Brokers, DC and transport companies for any Export requirements related to the UK & IRL.
  • Prepares the info that the Brokers and transport companies need to export goods efficiently through export steps and procedures.
  • The Import/Export agent will support the Import/Export Administrator and assist with preparing import and export documents in compliance with customs and government regulations.
  • Check, approve, and record all transport-related invoices.
  • Support the Finance department in HO regarding HMRC queries and requirements.
  • Contact and support the Spanish Transport Head Quarters.
  • Contact and support the Suppliers in the UK and IRL.
  • Report transport incidents to stock control, such as bundles delivered to the wrong store, delays, boxes left unattended, damages to the store on delivery, etc.
  • Support the eCommerce team with in-store deliveries and other online-related issues related to export and import.
  • Support to follow up on regular deliveries to the Inditex stores and overall country distribution.
  • Support to ensure the transfers between store structures fulfil the needs of the business and report any related incidents.
  • Support with bookings and manage courier Services.
  • Experience required in order to support the transport team within the UK & IRL: Be familiar with Extranet, SGE and SFI to obtain the information needed for import/export and invoices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Attitudes

  • Excellent written and spoken English, Spanish desirable.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (must be confident in Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • An understanding of the delivery and transfer process in-store is a must.
  • Reliable, punctual and committed.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Minimum of one year experience working in a transport department.
