We are hiring an Employee Relations Specialist to support our UK retail business across multiple brands within one of the largest fashion retailers in the world. This is a high-volume, operational ER role requiring strong experience in case management, UK employment law, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced environment.
Key Focus of the Role
- End-to-end ER case management (disciplinary, grievance, capability, investigations, appeals, SOSR)
- Managing high-risk and complex employee relations cases
- Providing clear, practical guidance to retail managers
- Ensuring legal compliance (UK employment law, ACAS) and consistent decision-making
- Supporting restructures, change programmes, and business-critical activity
- Conducting weekly store visits – this is a hands-on, field-facing role
- Using data, judgement, and risk assessment to drive outcomes
What You Must Bring
- Proven experience in Employee Relations / ER Specialist / HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
- Experience managing high-volume ER caseloads independently
- Background in retail, hospitality, logistics, or other fast-paced environments
- Confidence influencing and challenging stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work at pace with accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable in an office-based role with regular travel to stores (CIPD experience)
