Home Manager - Residential & Dementia Care Shipley, Bradford £55,000 per annum Indigo Healthcare is working in partnership with an established care provider to appoint a Home Manager for a well-established residential and dementia care service in the Shipley area. This is a role suited to an experienced care leader who enjoys running a stable service and building on strong foundations. The home has good occupancy, an established team and a supportive senior leadership structure in place, allowing the incoming Manager to focus on consistency, team development and continued improvement. The Opportunity You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the home, overseeing care quality, compliance, staffing and operational performance. The home provides residential, dementia and physical care for older people and has a strong community feel, with an established team who know the service and its residents well. This isn't a role where you'll be walking into a significant turnaround. It's about maintaining the standards already in place, developing the team and continuing to provide a positive environment for residents, families and staff.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home Maintaining and strengthening CQC compliance and quality standards Leading, developing and retaining an established care team Supporting occupancy, staffing stability and overall home performance Managing budgets and ensuring effective operational management Building positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals Promoting a culture of dignity, respect and person-centred care
- About You You'll be an experienced Home Manager / CQC Registered Manager, with a strong background in elderly residential or dementia care. You'll likely have: Proven experience managing a residential or dementia care service A strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory expectations Level 5 Leadership & Management (or equivalent) A confident and supportive leadership style The ability to balance care quality with occupancy and commercial performance A genuine focus on developing and retaining a strong team Package £55,000 base salary Supportive senior leadership structure Established service with strong foundations already in place Opportunity to make a visible impact within the home Long-term progression within an established care provider
