We are seeking a talented individual to join our PMO to support existing deployment-based projects in the UK and EU, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling engineers in line with project SLAs and in conjunction with the Sub-Contracting Team, Engineering Team Leads and Workforce Scheduling Coordinators, by raising tickets on the Salesforce Field Service ticketing system.
- Arrange site access and permits as required by the project schedule.
- Maintain access records and key logs.
- Identify consumables and parts, place orders, track orders and coordinate deliveries to site (Materials Management).
- Coordinate and track tools and test equipment between field staff, updating relevant systems.
- Communicate with engineers, audit project documentation and arrange field quality audit reports internally and to customers.
- Provide holiday cover for absent colleagues.
- Create and maintain a project-specific SharePoint for storage and distribution of all project-related documentation.
- Act as point of contact between engineer and customer while work is being carried out on site.
- Escalate engineering issues to the relevant manager.
- Assist Resourcing with reporting on completed activities (KPI reporting).
- Manage simple profit and loss statements.
- Represent the company in customer meetings or conference calls, in an assisting or primary role.
- Provide financial and commercial support β sign acceptance reports and invoice against customer purchase orders.
Qualifications
- Minimum education level: 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Essential experience with SharePoint or other cloud-based storage systems.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to interact with people at all levels and to prioritise events and deliverables.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work logically.
- Pragmatic approach to dealing with unexpected and challenging events.
- Ability to work both in a team and on own initiative, not afraid to seek support when necessary.
- Previous Project Coordinator experience preferred; DCN or subsea experience an advantage.
- Previous experience in the telecoms industry would be a strong advantage.
