This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global telecoms professional services business, headquartered in Magor, NP26. You will be joining our broader People Team to specifically support the Talent Acquisition function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where agility and responsiveness are essential. Working closely with the Group Recruitment Manager, this role will report into the People Operations team, providing HR support across the whole employee life cycle. This position is initially offered on a six-month basis. Future opportunities may arise depending on business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Progressing candidates through each stage of the recruitment process, ensuring timely updates and a positive candidate experience.
- Administering and maintaining our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Supporting the review and maintenance of job description libraries, ensuring documentation remains current and accurately reflects role requirements.
- Posting vacancies on LinkedIn and supporting wider social recruitment activity.
- Managing candidate communications and expectations throughout the hiring journey, ensuring all touchpoints (emails, updates, interview logistics) are delivered professionally and efficiently.
- Liaising with hiring managers and suppliers across the globe.
- Acting as a point of coordination and providing administrative support across broader HR activities as required, ensuring seamless coordination between Talent Acquisition and the wider People Team.
- Scheduling interviews, gathering required information, and capturing interview feedback.
- (Future development) Supporting CV screening, pre-hiring planning meetings, interviewing (for some roles) and contributing to ATS configuration and optimisation.
Qualifications
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work at pace.
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and follow through.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence, engaging stakeholders internationally; Excellent customer service skills.
- Proactive, adaptable approach suited to a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Comfortable working across multiple time zones to support global hiring activity.
- Self-starter, with a positive attitude and outlook, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to take ownership of an issue and see things through to the end.
- Ideally, experience in HR/recruitment administration.
- IT and systems capability, including experience of working with Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams etc).
Working Arrangements
The role is based in our Magor office, typically you can expect to spend three days per week in the office, with flexibility aligned to team and business needs. Ideally, you would join us on 5th May for an initial six months. Our expectation is that this will then become a permanent role.
