Ideally you'd be available to start in August as this is a 6‑month assignment to provide Maternity Cover.

The People Operations Coordinator reports to the People Operations Lead and is at the heart of delivering a great employee experience.

You'll provide day‑to‑day administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring people processes run smoothly, records are accurate, and employees receive a professional and responsive service.

In this busy and varied role you will be the first point of contact for many People‑related queries, supporting employees and managers while working closely with the wider People team to ensure a consistent and positive experience for everyone.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, enjoys working at pace and isn’t afraid to take ownership, suggest improvements and find better ways of doing things.

Is this you?

  • A proactive mindset, with the confidence to identify issues, suggest improvements, take action or elevate to the People Business Partners where appropriate.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR, People Operations or a similar fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high‑quality work.
  • Experience managing a high volume of administration while maintaining excellent service standards.
  • Confidence using HR systems, databases or business systems to maintain records and produce reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A customer‑focused approach, with the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a practical, solutions‑focused approach.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt and support the wider People team in a dynamic environment.
