Our world class Video Management Software allows Enterprise customers to monitor all aspects of security at their sites. From integrating video analytics in Windows applications to making highly scalable cloud microservices - our engineers have opportunities to work with a very diverse and exciting range of products.
We are seeking talented software engineers with 1-4 years experience to expand our teams and contribute to product development. Our hybrid home/office model is fully supported, with a fantastic city center office in Edinburgh.
Job Description
What You Will Do
- Delivering high quality, reliable software in our cloud and on-premise video management system in an agile environment.
- Contributing to, and thriving in, a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate within your team and with international colleagues.
- Contribute to feature refinement and generate innovative solutions.
- Participate in peer reviews, sharing and learning from others.
- Mentoring and coaching other engineers in your team.
Our Tech Stack:
- C#, C++, Typescript and other languages.
- Azure Cloud technologies.
- Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservice architectures.
- Front-end frameworks (WPF and React).
- Database technologies.
- Test automation tools such as Playwright.
- Common API technologies such as OpenAPI, REST/HTTP, WebSocket, SignalR.
- GitHub and CoPilot.
- CI/CD.
Basic Requirements
What You Bring:
- Strong skills in at least one object-oriented language (C# or C++ preferred).
- Solid industry experience as a Software Engineer.
- Be able to demonstrate strong software development fundamentals, including test automation.
- A passion for owning, building and delivering great software experiences for end-users.
- A formal qualification (Degree) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with the use or adoption of AI tools in a software development context is preferred.
