Monitor network performance and capacity; analyse traffic using network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds or PRTG; plan upgrades and patches. Participate in on call rotation and respond to afterhours incidents and deployment requests.
  • Documentation & process: Document network designs, configurations, policies and procedures; maintain asset inventories and cabling diagrams. Follow ITIL based change, incident and problem management processes; help develop runbooks and knowledge articles.
  • Cross functional collaboration: Work closely with system administrators, security engineers and application teams to support new services and troubleshoot complex issues. Provide Level 2 support to the NOCs and Security Teams.
