The Indigo Lune team is growing! We are looking for a Financial Manager to oversee, analyse and develop the company’s performance and growth. Indigo Lune is Lounge’s sister brand and an exciting start-up making waves in the jewellery world. Vibrant, dynamic, and fast-growing, we’re on a mission to become a leading name in the industry. From statement rings and chic necklaces to elegant bracelets and unique hand chains, we pride ourselves on crafting jewellery that truly stands out.
As a smaller, closely-knit team, Indigo Lune offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact and help shape the future of the brand. This is a standalone role and a key hire for us; you’ll be the first person dedicated to Finance, with the opportunity to build the strategy, shape best practices, and, working alongside the Lounge Finance team, lay the foundations for how we build out the finance function long term.
We are looking for an expert in financial management who is driven by numbers, with a strong analytical and strategic way of thinking. We want somebody who has first-hand experience of budgeting and business finances. You will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on the overall financial position of the company as well as the day-to-day finance operation.
Responsibilities:- Help to oversee budgeting/forecasting processes reporting to the Group CEO/CFO.
- Manage day-to-day finance reports and internal reporting by analysing metrics that showcase the company's performance.
- Maintain relationships with key members of each team within the company.
- Build and present reports that handle the potential risks, solutions, as well as the company's overall financial position to the executive board.
- Analyse and suggest investments to ensure the company has a robust and profitable portfolio.
- Ensure the company remains in line with local & international tax laws.
- Develop tax and financial strategies.
- Monitor and direct strategic business plans.
- Oversee all transactions and processing systems.
- Manage day-to-day tax compliance (UK and overseas).
- Control income, cash flow, and expenditure.
- A relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or be almost qualified (first time leaver from practice would be considered).
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in finance, preferably in e-commerce/retail.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Experience and considerable knowledge with the Xero accounting software.
- Some experience of international tax (VAT/sales taxes).
- Passion about the Indigo Lune brand and a desire to join a team full of passionate and driven individuals.
- A team player with strong communicative skills.
You’ll be part of a small, ambitious team where your ideas and input have a real impact. You’ll also have the support of the wider finance team at Lounge. We’re a collaborative, fast-paced brand with big ambitions, and this role gives you the freedom to innovate, experiment, and help define Indigo Lune’s finance team from the ground up.
Here at Indigo Lune we value collaboration, so we all work from the office 4 days out of 5. Our HQ is based in Solihull, Birmingham.
