Home Manager - Residential & Dementia Care

£55,000 per annum
Indigo Healthcare is working in partnership with an established care provider to appoint a Home Manager for a well-established residential and dementia care service in the Shipley area.
This is a role suited to an experienced care leader who enjoys running a stable service and building on strong foundations. The home has good occupancy, an established team and a supportive senior leadership structure in place, allowing the incoming Manager to focus on consistency, team development and continued improvement.
The Opportunity
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the home, overseeing care quality, compliance, staffing and operational performance.
The home provides residential, dementia and physical care for older people and has a strong community feel, with an established team who know the service and its residents well.
This isn't a role where you'll be walking into a significant turnaround. It's about maintaining the standards already in place, developing the team and continuing to provide a positive environment for residents, families and staff.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home
- Maintaining and strengthening CQC compliance and quality standards
- Leading, developing and retaining an established care team
- Supporting occupancy, staffing stability and overall home performance
- Managing budgets and ensuring effective operational management
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals
- Promoting a culture of dignity, respect and person-centred care
About You
You’ll be an experienced Home Manager / CQC Registered Manager, with a strong background in elderly residential or dementia care.
You’ll likely have:
- Proven experience managing a residential or dementia care service
- A strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory expectations
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
- A confident and supportive leadership style
- The ability to balance care quality with occupancy and commercial performance
- A genuine focus on developing and retaining a strong team

- £55,000 base salary
