Indigo Signs & Print is a busy, well-established signage and print business based at St Cross Business Park, Newport, working with long-standing clients including the NHS, Isle of Wight Council, and Isle of Wight Festival. We're looking for an experienced Business & Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and help shape how the business runs as it continues to grow.

The role:

  • Day‑to‑day point of contact for the business, reporting directly to the Director
  • Managing customer relationships including council, NHS and walk‑in clients
  • Quoting jobs using ShopVox
  • Organising the production schedule and coordinating with the workshop team — keeping work flowing calmly and to deadline
  • Ordering materials and maintaining supplier relationships — balancing reliability and service with sensible cost awareness
  • Financial oversight: invoicing, budgets, pricing input, debtor control
  • Leading and supporting a small team, with an eye for improving how things run where possible

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid working knowledge of signage/print production processes, materials and parts — comfortable with proven, established methods as well as newer approaches
  • Confident with job/quoting systems (ShopVox experience a strong advantage)
  • Experience managing budgets, invoicing or basic financial oversight
  • Calm, organised, and good with people — able to keep a team motivated without rushing them
  • Strong relationship‑builder with suppliers and clients alike, with the judgement to know when to question
