Salary: Up to £45,000 + 32 days annual leave, pension and sick pay

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Edgmond Foods site in Telford. Applicants must have experience within food manufacturing in a senior quality role, with proven experience managing and developing a team.

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the QA function and ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of food safety, legality and quality. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with BRC Version 9, strengthening quality systems and driving continuous improvement across the site.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop the QA team
  • Manage day-to-day quality and technical compliance
  • Oversee QMS, internal audits, CCP monitoring and documentation
  • Support production teams in maintaining high standards
  • Investigate complaints, non-conformances and conduct root cause analysis
  • Manage microbiological sampling, GMP checks and product quality reviews
  • Assist with customer visits and external audits

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years experience in food manufacturing quality/technical roles
  • Strong knowledge of food safety legislation and BRC standards
  • Food Safety Level 3, HACCP Level 3 and Internal Auditor certification
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
