We have welcomed more than 300,000 travelers from 169 countries and offer a comprehensive array of road trip possibilities: short-term RV rentals, long-term campervan subscriptions, and vehicle sales. We are growing our team and looking for skilled and passionate individuals to join us as a Campervan Technician at our depot.
This role is critical to ensuring our fleet of campervans is maintained at the highest standards, enabling our customers to embark on unforgettable journeys. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain our campervans in optimal condition, contributing to an efficient operation and customer satisfaction.
What Will You Work On?
- Conduct systematic inspections to vehicles and diagnose problems on vehicles’ mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance;
- Light bodywork repairs involving spare parts replacement;
- Campervan spare parts substitution and repairs;
- Campervan appliances troubleshooting and repairs;
As part of the local team, you will also execute tasks related to daily operations of the depot, including:
- Preparation of vehicles and equipment for customers;
- Assisting with handling incoming reservations, welcoming guests, and managing check-ins and check-outs;
- Receiving and collecting shipments and supplies, organizing them in storage, and registering item consumption and new orders;
- Maintaining depot equipment, extras, and consumables stored at the depot.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Candidates with certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or a similar program in the automotive industry;
- At least 5 years of proven experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs - experience in campervans is a plus;
- A high school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred);
- Fluency in English (mandatory);
- Eligibility to work in the UK, a valid driver's licence, and confidence to drive a campervan (mandatory);
- Availability to work on weekends and public holidays.
