ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of Fleet Delivery Supervisor requires you to direct, motivate and work with both the External and Internal teams to ensure our motorhomes are ready for hire as per business requirements. You will be responsible for supervising the Fleet Delivery Assistants, ensuring that the teams have the resource, equipment and training necessary to carry out their roles to the highest of standards. To work closely with the Fleet Delivery Manager and take on some responsibilities in their absence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staff
- Allocation and organisation of casual staff
- Monitor, review and request staffing level requirements to meet business needs
- Manage and oversee the training of casual and permanent staff in cab and locker and internal cleaning standards
- Work with Fleet Manager with performance management including but not limited to: probation reviews, staff appraisals, performance, and absence related issues.
- To ensure that you and your team cover all the below:
- Pre check vehicle through our VTA system
- Minor fixes (external and internal)
- Liaise with workshop and logistics to ensure repair of major fixes before vehicle next on hire.
- Wash bay duties, monitor diesel, ad blue and gas levels and refuel, log weekly meter readings.
- Oversee linen room and stockroom duties, ensuring all are well stocked and equipment is safe and working.
- Vehicle sign off
- Quality control checks of vehicles (10% of all signed off vehicles)
- Responsible for the cleaning of vehicles during off peak season
- Vehicle movements, internal and offsite
- All operational stocktake of all Fleet items are accurately counted with stock levels being managed and adjusted accordingly
- Opening and closing of depot responsibilities (peak periods; hours between 8:00am – 6:30pm)
- Coordinate, prioritise and schedule team and tasks to ensure the timely delivery of motorhomes
- Management of all cleaning equipment, ensuring stock is readily available (including welcome packs, hoovers, full spray bottles etc)
- Undertake vehicle relocations and vehicle swaps
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with the Fleet team and Fleet Delivery Manager to ensure tasks are on track
- Ensure H&S of all Fleet areas
- All deliveries are checked, accurate and invoices are handed to Fleet Manager. Ensure this is all correctly logged.
- Liaise with Fleet Delivery Manager when linen is required to be booked in.
- Ensure linen is bagged and booked correctly ready for collection.
- Ensure linen is counted back in correctly upon delivery.
- Raise any concerns over linen requirements with Fleet Delivery Manager
- Organise and oversee the Italy preparation workflow at both LCY and PSA
- Maintain yard map and ensure EOD stock take is correct and end of day cleaning is done
- Work with the Fleet Delivery Manager to manage sales workflow
- Ensure to liaise well with Logistics, Workshop and FOH so that all tasks are met within their deadline and workflow is smooth
- Provide support to the Fleet Delivery Manager in their absence by keeping on top of the pick-up and drop-off lists, Sales collections dates and management of Sales workflow are managed well, and high standards are met each time
- Overview Responsibilities
- Stock removal, wrap and replace items such as bike racks, TVs and spare wheels
- Manage the snagging, deep cleans, inspections and general planning and workflow of the project

- Full UK driver’s license with more than 2 years driving experience
The base salary for the role is £26500 per annum with Quarterly bonus scheme.
