We are looking for someone who enjoys craftsmanship, hands-on problem solving, and maintaining campervans to high standards.
The Role
We are looking for skilled and passionate individuals to join our depot team as a Campervan Mechanic in Christchurch, contributing to maintaining our campervans at peak condition and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work with the APAC Regional Team to keep the fleet available and reliable, delivering exceptional service and meaningful impact.
What you will work on
- Conduct systematic inspections to diagnose problems in mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes.
- Light bodywork repairs and replacement of spare parts (e.g., bulbs, windows, mirrors).
- Subsitute and repair campervan spare parts; troubleshoot appliances.
- Maintain relationships with external partners and coordinate interventions with suppliers and regional teams.
- Maintain vehicle information systems and move campervans to and from vendors, parking facilities or depots.
- Keep depot equipment and spare parts organized and stocked; update spare parts inventory systems.
- Participate in daily depot operations: prepare vehicles for customers, assist with reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and handling shipments and supplies.
Who we are looking for
- Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics or a similar automotive program
- At least 1+ years of hands-on mechanical and electrical repair experience; campervans experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Valid Driver’s License
- English communication skills
