THE ROLE

We are looking for skilled and passionate individuals who excel in craftsmanship and hands‑on problem‑solving to join our team as a Campervan Technician at our depot. This role is critical to ensuring our fleet of campervans is maintained at the highest standards, enabling our customers to embark on unforgettable journeys. As a Body Repair Technician, you will be part of our Edinburgh team and work with the UKI & Nordics Regional Team. Your primary responsibility is to maintain our campervans available at all times and at the highest possible condition, contributing to an efficient operation and customer satisfaction. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Engage in the ongoing and improving health and safety measures in the department
  • Ensure that all aspects of PPE and working practices are adhered to at all times
  • Maintain appropriate working conditions and equipment for yourself
  • Maintain a disciplined and professional approach to work
  • Effectively work with all team members across the whole company
  • Book out all parts and consumables used in the way prescribed by the company
  • Effectively maintain the Just go, Bunk Campers, Indie Campers fleet and RVSC sales vehicles
  • Upload all warranty claims using the appropriate systems and see the jobs to conclusion
  • Clock in and out of jobs accurately
  • Create accurate estimates for jobs presented to the business
  • Ensure you are able to deliver internal and external smart repairs

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction is at the core of everything you do
  • Work in a way which promotes a sustainable approach to body repairs
  • Use C it Now to build trust with the customer and provide upsell opportunities
  • Safeguard the customers vehicle and possessions whilst in the department's care
  • Be an expert in the sales body preparation process and competent to repair all aspects of the Habitation area
  • To be an NCC gas safe person (training will be provided if not already qualified)
