We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist and Nurses to join our Respiratory Therapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to residents in a long term care setting, with a focus on geriatrics. This position will be at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Centre in Winchester, Indiana. Previous ventilator and Tracheostomy experience is a plus, but NOT required. We are happy to train you on site!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer and document respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and heart rate
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed

Requirements:

  • Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN
  • Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Basic life support certification required
