The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our People Team and help us attract, hire and welcome top talent into EU Automation. In this varied role, you’ll work closely with hiring managers to deliver a smooth, engaging recruitment and onboarding experience from crafting job adverts and screening candidates, to coordinating interviews, managing offers, and organising induction programmes that set new starters up for success. You’ll also play a key part in enhancing our employer brand and ensuring every candidate and new employee has a positive experience. Responsibilities Of a Recruitment And Onboarding Coordinator
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Devising and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, working closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements, providing insights on market trends, and ensuring a smooth, centralised recruitment process.
- Using direct recruitment methods such as job boards, LinkedIn, and CV database searches to effectively source candidates, and applying selection methods including interviews and initial screening calls, while strengthening the overall process by supporting managers in designing assessment tests.
- Acting as the first point of contact for candidate correspondence, including arranging and attending interviews, liaising with agencies, and providing feedback.
- Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies throughout the recruitment process and conducting manager training when required.
- Reporting recruitment metrics on a monthly basis to provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Occasionally travel to our Birmingham office to support recruitment and onboarding activities (travel expenses covered).
- Onboarding
- Organise robust induction programmes for new starters, including delivering the company overview elements.
- Setting up any new employees, doing recruitment checks, and liaising with managers on start dates for new recruits.
- Driving the review and probation process, ensuring managers undertake required tasks.
- Ensure new starters get a great employee experience.
- Contributing to the enhancement of EU Automation’s company brand by promoting a positive image on Glassdoor, Indeed, and the Careers site.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality by ensuring that all information heard or disclosed during the role is handled with the utmost discretion.
- Working with the wider People Team on projects when required.

Requirements Of a Recruitment And Onboarding Coordinator Includes
- Knowledge of using direct talent acquisition strategies, including designing engaging job adverts, reviewing applications, and conducting LinkedIn and CV database searches.
- Possesses strong administrative skills, supported by advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience liaising with and negotiating terms with external recruitment agencies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities with the ability to adapt.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with business stakeholders.

Salary And Benefits
- £26,000 – £28,000 salary, depending on experience.
- 33 days annual leave per year.
