Olivae is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Members to join our growing Italian restaurant in the heart of Disley. The successful candidate will play an important role in preparing and delivering high-quality Italian dishes in a fast-paced, professional kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your culinary skills, gain valuable experience in hospitality, and be part of a supportive, close-knit team.
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided. What matters most is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for food. Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation and plating, ensuring every dish meets Olivae's quality and presentation standards
- Support daily kitchen operations, including chopping, prepping, assembling ingredients, and maintaining smooth service
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety regulations
- Follow all health and safety procedures during food preparation and service
- Assist with stock rotation and organisation, notifying supervisors of low inventory
- Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Support the team during busy services and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen environment
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is beneficial but not required
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen
