A Franchise holder of a worldwide chain of restaurants is looking for a qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience to manage their company finance department. The ideal candidate should be able to handle the finance department for 6 branches of restaurants and property investment companies.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the company’s bookkeeping using XERO software, including a complete review of all entries and ensuring full compliance.
- Taking full control of compliance for VAT and Companies Act.
- Managing and overseeing the company’s payroll, maintaining payroll compliance, adhering to necessary regulations, and handling payroll and pension payments.
- Preparing quarterly management accounts for bank purposes.
- Preparing annual accounts and company tax returns.
- Providing regular updates of finance matters to the company directors.
- Maintaining supplier payments and approving supplier invoices and payments.
- Keeping control of cash, sales and online sales orders.
- Keeping control of company expenses and reporting any irregularities to management.
- Monthly reporting to the franchise and management on sales, cash, and other managerial functions.
Salary Negotiable. 5 days a week working from office.
