Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution? Index Exchange is seeking an Account Manager to join our Buyer Services team in London, reporting to the Director, Buyer Account Management. In this role, you’ll partner with programmatic agencies and marketers that leverage Index Exchange’s technology through our Demand Side Platform integrations. You’ll build trusted relationships, deliver strategic guidance, and help customers maximise the value of the Index platform while identifying opportunities to grow existing partnerships.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
- Become the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of agency and brand partners across the UK, delivering an exceptional customer experience while building long-term strategic relationships.
- Develop a strong understanding of your customers’ objectives, campaign performance and broader business priorities to identify new commercial opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Partner closely with the Business Development team to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through increased platform adoption, upselling, cross-selling and strategic account development.
- Provide proactive, data-driven insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance, maximise delivery, increase Index demand-sourced revenue and help customers achieve their business objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Technical Operations, Analytics, Product and Publisher teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for customers and resolve complex challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor by sharing industry insights, marketplace trends and best practices that help customers maximise the value of the Index Exchange platform.
- Represent Index Exchange at client meetings, industry events and partner engagements to strengthen relationships and support continued account growth.
Here’s What You Need:
- 2–3+ years’ experience in digital media, including at least one year in a client-facing Account Management, Customer Success, Sales or Programmatic role.
- Good understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, agencies, publishers and programmatic deal types.
- Experience managing customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow accounts and delivering excellent client service.
- Comfortable using data and campaign performance insights to make recommendations, solve customer challenges and influence commercial outcomes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present confidently to both internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Technical Operations, Product and Analytics teams.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in Account Management or Sales is advantageous but not essential.
