Indevor Bonds and Guarantees Limited is looking for a driven and personable Client Account Manager to join our growing team in Chorley.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a specialist, ambitious business where you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, build strong relationships and play an important role in delivering an exceptional service across our surety bond business.

The Opportunity

As Client Account Manager, you’ll become the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing relationships and supporting bond enquiries from initial quotation through to final issuance. You’ll work closely with clients, underwriters and internal teams to ensure applications progress efficiently, issues are resolved quickly and clients receive a consistently high level of service. This isn’t simply an administrative account management position. We’re looking for someone who enjoys developing relationships, understanding their clients’ businesses and spotting opportunities to strengthen and grow those accounts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for your assigned clients.
  • Building long-term, trusted relationships and understanding individual client requirements.
  • Liaising with underwriters to obtain quotations and progress applications.
  • Managing new client onboarding and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Monitoring quotations, acceptances and bond issuances to keep cases moving.
  • Identifying opportunities for client retention, referrals and additional business.
  • Resolving client queries and taking ownership of issues through to completion.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM and Salesforce records.
  • Working collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Referrer Relations.
  • Monitoring service levels, KPIs and client performance.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of processes and the overall client journey.

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to speaking with people from a range of backgrounds including account management, client services, insurance, financial services, construction or other professional client-facing environments. You’ll ideally be someone who:

  • Builds strong relationships naturally and communicates confidently.
  • Is highly organised and comfortable managing several client accounts simultaneously.
  • Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
  • Has strong attention to detail and maintains high standards of accuracy.
  • Is commercially aware and able to identify opportunities within existing relationships.
  • Is comfortable dealing with clients, senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Enjoys working within a fast-moving and ambitious environment.
  • Is comfortable working towards KPIs and service levels.
  • Has experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience would be particularly useful.

Experience within insurance, surety bonds or financial services would be beneficial but isn’t essential. A Cert CII or Dip CII qualification would also be advantageous, although this is not a requirement.
