Indevor Group is seeking an accomplished Group Financial Controller to play a central role in the financial leadership of a growing multi-entity organisation. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, this appointment will assume responsibility for the integrity of Group financial reporting, statutory compliance and financial control across an expanding portfolio of businesses. The Opportunity
As Group Financial Controller, you will provide technical leadership across the finance function, ensuring the Group maintains the highest standards of financial governance, reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will lead the Group's financial reporting cycle, maintaining a robust control environment whilst supporting strategic initiatives, organisational growth and continuous improvement across the finance function. A fundamental aspect of this appointment will be responsibility for the Group month-end close and consolidated financial reporting process. We are specifically seeking an individual with demonstrable experience of leading accurate, timely and technically robust Group consolidations, ensuring complete confidence in the financial information presented to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Alongside technical accounting responsibilities, the role will provide commercial support to senior leadership through high-quality financial analysis, strategic insight and the continual development of financial systems, processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the Group month-end close across multiple legal entities.
- Preparing accurate and timely consolidated management accounts and Group financial reports.
- Maintaining a robust financial control framework across all Group companies.
- Managing intercompany accounting, reconciliations and eliminations.
- Preparing statutory accounts and coordinating the annual external audit.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with UK accounting standards, Companies Act requirements and taxation legislation.
- Developing and strengthening financial systems, controls and reporting processes to support continued organisational growth.
- Supporting acquisitions, new business ventures, corporate restructuring and due diligence activities.
- Producing financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making at Board level.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to the wider finance team.
Candidate Profile
This appointment is suited to an experienced Group Financial Controller or Senior Financial Controller currently operating within a complex multi-entity environment. Applications are particularly welcomed from individuals who can demonstrate substantial experience in:
