The Opportunity:

We’re offering a fantastic opportunity to join our high-performing Real Estate Team as a Senior Claims Team Leader. You will play a key role in driving team success, managing workflow, and ensuring top-tier service delivery for our clients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading and managing a team of desk-based Real Estate claims handlers
  • Allocating new claims and ensuring effective team workflow
  • Managing the review and distribution of Real Estate reports
  • Handling technical referrals and complaint escalations
  • Conducting monthly 1:1s and completing performance appraisals
  • Supporting account management and operational planning
  • Identifying team training needs and implementing development plans
  • Ensuring holiday cover, managing authorisations, and maintaining team efficiency
  • Monitoring the full lifecycle of claims to ensure timely and accurate outcomes
  • Assisting with other ad hoc duties as required

About You – Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in property claims (domestic or commercial)
  • 3+ years in a team leader or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Organised, resilient, and confident in high-pressure environments
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and motivating teams to hit performance goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Flexible and open to occasional travel
