An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Claims Advocate to join a supportive, dynamic claims team. This senior, client-facing role focuses on the proactive management and settlement of high-profile, complex claims, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and key stakeholders. You will take ownership of claims from notification through to resolution, applying strong technical expertise, policy interpretation, and strategic advocacy to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and control complex, high-value claims
- Identify and resolve coverage issues early in the claims lifecycle
- Present claims to insurers and manage negotiations through to settlement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, experts, and internal teams
- Monitor insurer payments and ensure timely settlement
- Liaise closely with placing and accounting teams
- Keep up to date with market, regulatory, and system changes
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ North American Property claims experience
- DIP CII required; ACII preferred
- Strong technical claims and advocacy experience
- Excellent communication, numeracy, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, confident, and able to manage complex workloads
