We are recruiting a Practice Team Assistant on behalf of a legal / professional services firm in London. This is a full-time, office-based role.
What you will do:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to PAs and fee earners
- Manage document production: printing, scanning, filing, and bundling
- Assist with billing, timesheets, expenses, and banking administration
- Support new business intake, file opening, and compliance processes
- Manage emails, calls, and internal communications
- Coordinate meetings, events, travel, and diary arrangements
- Maintain accurate client and matter records
- Support WIP, billing, and debtor reporting
- Provide ad hoc administrative support as required
We are looking for professionals with:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C), including Maths and English
- School or college leaver, or early-career professional
- Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment (desirable)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Typing speed of 45 wpm with high accuracy
- Excellent organisational, time management, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
- CILEX qualification (desirable, not essential)
