This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Claims Handler to join a collaborative and growing Real Estate division. You’ll manage a caseload of UK and European Public Liability claims from first notification through to settlement, working closely with clients, brokers, and insurers to deliver a high-quality, efficient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing UK and European Public Liability claims (injury and property damage) from cradle to grave.
  • Conducting detailed desktop investigations to assess policy coverage, liability, and reserve requirements.
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, brokers, and internal teams to move claims toward swift and fair resolution.
  • Proactively managing claim files, tasks, and diary actions.
  • Preparing clear and accurate client reports, MI data, and invoicing.
  • Ensuring compliance with technical procedures, internal standards, and GDPR requirements.

About you - Knowledge and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience handling Public Liability claims (beyond broking exposure).
  • Experience handling property claims is desirable but not essential.
  • Confident working both independently and within a technical team environment.
  • Familiarity with the UK low-value claims portal; European claims experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and progress files proactively.
  • Working towards a recognised claims qualification is desirable.
