Are you an experienced Claims or Fraud Investigator looking for a field-based role where no two cases are the same? We are recruiting a Claims Field Investigator to join an established specialist investigations team, handling a portfolio of domestic and commercial insurance claims that require further investigation. This is a home/field-based UK role, involving travel to conduct investigations and meet policyholders and other relevant parties.
What you will do:
- Manage your own portfolio of domestic or commercial claim investigations
- Conduct field visits, interviews and take detailed statements
- Gather and assess evidence to identify potential fraud or inconsistencies
- Liaise with policyholders, insurers, witnesses and relevant third parties
- Carry out enquiries and checks to support claim decisions
- Negotiate settlements and communicate claim outcomes where appropriate
- Produce clear, evidence-based investigation reports
- Ensure investigations comply with relevant legislation and industry requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Previous property claims investigation experience – essential
- Experience across domestic and/or commercial claims
- Field investigation experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong interviewing, investigation and report-writing skills
- Good analytical judgement and attention to detail
- Insurance or fraud qualifications such as ACFS, CII or ACILA are desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
