Are you a claims professional with strong experience handling Casualty claims, particularly within Real Estate? Do you want a technically engaging, client-facing role with progression and European exposure? We are recruiting a Senior Claims Handler on behalf of a specialist claims management company, offering a technically rewarding opportunity within a growing, high-performing team handling European Real Estate Casualty claims. This hybrid position is based in Essex, with a minimum of three days in the office per week.
What you will do:
- Handle a portfolio of UK & European Real Estate Casualty claims from investigation through to settlement, ensuring compliance with technical, operational, and data protection standards.
- Manage Public Liability claims, including personal injury and third-party property damage.
- Assess liability, coverage, reserves and quantum on complex claims.
- Maintain full cradle-to-grave claims handling, including diary and lifecycle control.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, brokers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth claim progression.
- Support client meetings, presentations and technical training sessions.
- Produce accurate reports and ensure billing, invoicing, time recording and account management comply with internal standards.
- Generate MI, data reporting and performance insights.
- Work within agreed SLAs, fee income targets and compliance frameworks.
