Salary: up to £29k

The Opportunity:

  • Support Loss Adjusters with Commercial Property claims, including Business Interruption and property damage.
  • Act as the first point of contact for policyholders.
  • Guide customers through the claims process with empathy and clarity.
  • Liaise with adjusters, contractors, and insurers to ensure fair, efficient claim resolution.
  • Ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, clear communication, and making a positive impact.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for customers, managing communication throughout the lifecycle of a claim.
  • Assisting Loss Adjusters with claim investigation, triage, file setup, and technical support.
  • Collaborating with contractors, brokers, and insurers to drive proactive claims resolution.
  • Ensuring cases are updated, diarised, and closed efficiently while adhering to SLAs.
  • Supporting complex or high-volume claims during surge periods.
  • Participating in technical reporting and documentation as required.
  • Maintaining excellent customer service throughout the claims process.

About You Knowledge and Experience:

  • Claims handling experience is essential, ideally within property-related claims.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A conscientious, flexible and team-focused attitude.
  • Ability to self-manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and general IT systems.
  • Interest in or experience with loss adjusting is highly desirable.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
