The Opportunity:
We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our high-performing Real Estate Team as a Senior Claims Team Leader. You will play a key role in driving team success, managing workflow, and ensuring top-tier service delivery for our clients.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leading and managing a team of desk-based Real Estate claims handlers
- Allocating new claims and ensuring effective team workflow
- Managing the review and distribution of Real Estate reports
- Handling technical referrals and complaint escalations
- Conducting monthly 1:1s and completing performance appraisals
- Supporting account management and operational planning
- Identifying team training needs and implementing development plans
- Ensuring holiday cover, managing authorisations, and maintaining team efficiency
- Monitoring the full lifecycle of claims to ensure timely and accurate outcomes
- Assisting with other ad hoc duties as required
About You Knowledge and Experience:
- 3+ years experience in property claims (domestic or commercial)
- 3+ years in a team leader or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organised, resilient, and confident in high-pressure environments
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and motivating teams to hit performance goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexible and open to occasional travel
