We are looking for outstanding customer focused individuals to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.
What you'll do
- Provide a friendly, welcoming and professional service to supporters, guests and visitors on matchdays.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and promptly.
- Operate tills and payment systems, handling transactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve food and snacks in line with food hygiene and safety standards, where required.
- Maintain clean, tidy and well-stocked bar areas throughout service.
- Replenish drinks, glassware, cups and other stock, ensuring products are readily available during busy periods.
- Work effectively as part of a fast-paced team to deliver a smooth and efficient matchday service.
- Follow all licensing laws, Challenge 25 procedures and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Ensure all health and safety, food hygiene and venue procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and clearing down bar areas.
- Respond to customer queries and resolve minor issues in a friendly and professional manner, escalating where necessary.
- Support the wider hospitality and catering operation as required to ensure an excellent matchday experience.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the stadium and club positively at all times.
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in a bar, hospitality or customer service role is essential.
- Friendly, approachable and confident when interacting with customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering great customer service.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A reliable and punctual team player who can also use their own initiative.
- Flexible and available to work matchdays, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Comfortable working in a busy, lively stadium environment with large crowds.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when handling orders and payments.
- Able to follow instructions, procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Confident handling payments and using electronic till systems, or willing to learn.
- A professional approach to work, with a smart and presentable appearance.
- An understanding of responsible alcohol service is desirable.
- Enthusiastic about being part of a team and contributing to a great matchday experience.
