We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Mearley Vets, covering 3 sites across Lancashire.
Located in the heart of Lancashire, our practices are surrounded by beautiful countryside, charming market towns, and vibrant local communities. With easy access to the Ribble Valley, Pendle Hill, and the Forest of Bowland, the area offers an excellent work-life balance for outdoor enthusiasts, food lovers, and those who enjoy a strong sense of community.
Our facilities include digital imaging, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, and dedicated surgical spaces. We are committed to supporting our clinicians' professional growth and actively encourage CPD, certifications, and postgraduate qualifications.
We strive to provide our team with a varied and rewarding working day. Your duties across the week will include consultations, surgeries, client callbacks, prescriptions, in-patient care and workups. You will ideally work 4 days per week, with hours varying between 8.30am – 7:30 pm, alongside a Saturday rota (typically 1 in 4). However, we understand the importance of flexibility and are happy to discuss shift patterns and working hours to accommodate your preferences.
There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday duties, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your personal life.
