We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic, and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our small yet busy team at Alder Veterinary Practice. You will be joining our well-established team of 2 Veterinary Surgeons. This position is split over two sites in Bourne and Spalding.

Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work life balance. We are in the fortunate position to be able to offer a mix of rotas to accommodate all working patterns including working mums and dads with a school friendly rota. For context, our full-time rota is 40 hours per week across 4 days, with 1:5 Saturdays 8:30am - 12pm. No bank holiday or out-of-hours are involved as we are covered by Sutterton Veterinary Hospital.

About Us: We have two very well-established surgeries in the Lincolnshire market towns of Spalding and Bourne, both of which have a loyal client base of well over 20 years. We are situated close to the historic town of Stamford where you can visit Burghley House, Burghley Horse Trials, or Rutland Water, and Peterborough is approximately half an hour away with direct train lines into London.

Both practices are equipped with digital radiography, ultrasounds, dental x-ray, and in-house blood testing equipment. Our friendly team comprises of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a full team of Receptionists. We are a very encouraging team who are always willing to step in and work together in times of need and we work hard to provide the highest standards in client and animal care.

Applicant Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable with sole charge and confident in all first opinion duties. Animal care should be at the forefront of your mind.
