As Artsadmin heads towards its 50th year of producing and supporting extraordinary work by ground-breaking artists and creatives, we’re seeking similarly brilliant people to join the team and help us continue to adapt to the world around us.
The role of Assistant Producer will work closely with the Head of Programme and two Producers (Projects & Touring and Artist Support & Development) to contribute to the smooth delivery of a diverse programme of work, supporting the work and lives of artists working in contemporary performance practices. Through this role, you’ll gain an insight into producing arts events and programmes, experience of working in a small, busy and creative team, and the opportunity to be mentored by experienced arts professionals.
The ideal candidate is likely to have an interest or specialism in one or more contemporary performance practices, experience of working or being part of artistic projects, as well as some understanding of the arts sector landscape in the UK and beyond. We are looking for someone highly motivated and passionate about the arts, with excellent administration and organisational skills to support a range of existing projects, programmes, and tours, and an aptitude for problem-solving and teamwork.
