This is a senior FileMaker developer and project leader role within an IT support team of two people. The primary focus is managing and enhancing a commissioned accounting software originally created in APPX and translated to FileMaker. The role also involves providing day-to-day IT support. Key Responsibilities FileMaker Development & Project Management FileMaker development, testing, and implementation. Leading the software development project. Liaising with the accounts department for enhancement specifications. Monitoring the ticketing support system and reporting progress. Utilising advanced programming techniques, data separation, API connections (Google, HMRC, Banks), complex database relationships, FileMaker Servers (FMS), and Monkey Bread plug-in. Documenting all changes and creating user documentation. IT Support Providing day-to-day overflow support for approximately 140 Mac systems, iPads, and iPhones. Resolving minor printer issues (HP printers). Supporting Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Additional Tasks Assisting with user documentation and accounting system training. Requirements Advanced FileMaker programming skills. Good writing and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. In-depth knowledge of Mac, Linux, and Unix. Jamf experience (beneficial).
