Join our friendly After School Club team at Greenbank, supporting children aged 4–11 with play and activities in a safe, welcoming environment. Monday – Friday, term-time only.

About the Role:

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our After School Club team at Greenbank Preparatory School and Day Nursery. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children aged 3–11 in a busy and welcoming school environment.

You’ll help to supervise the children after school, lead and support a range of play-based activities, and contribute to maintaining a calm, safe and friendly atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children during after-school activities
• Set up and support indoor and outdoor play
• Prepare and serve light snacks
• Ensure the welfare and safety of all children in your care
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
• Work as part of a small, supportive team

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine interest in working with children
• Friendly, approachable and professional manner
• Reliable and flexible, with a positive attitude
• Experience in a similar role or setting is desirable but not essential
• A current DBS certificate is beneficial but can be arranged if needed
• Basic first aid knowledge is a plus (training can be provided)
