Hands-on site leadership role at a thriving Dulwich prep school. Full-time, year-round position with a salary of £32,000–£35,000.
Alleyn's Oakfield is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Premises Operative to play a vital role in the smooth running of our school. Based on our beautiful Dulwich site, you'll be responsible for site security and maintenance, event logistics, and compliance, within a warm, thriving prep school community.
Working closely with the Business Manager, you'll take day-to-day ownership of site operations, supervise the Junior Caretaker, and ensure the school environment is safe, well-maintained, and presented to the highest standard at all times. This is a genuinely varied role with real responsibility; no two days are the same, and your contribution will be felt across the whole school.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a similar facilities, estates, or site management role
- Confidence leading and motivating a small team to a high standard
- A practical, can-do approach and the ability to problem-solve under pressure
- A full, valid driving licence (essential)
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and working in a school environment
