We are seeking an outstanding Estates Manager to take strategic and operational leadership of our estate across two city-centre sites. This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional who combines technical expertise with strong people leadership, excellent organisation, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
The Queen’s School is Cheshire’s leading independent school for girls aged 3 to 18. Recently awarded the highest inspection rating of excellent in all areas, the school consistently achieves outstanding GCSE and A level results, placing it among the top performers nationally.
Responsibilities
- The Estates Manager will ensure that our buildings, grounds, transport operations, and site services are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and future-ready.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, you will lead the estates, cleaning, and transport teams, oversee statutory compliance, manage contractors and capital works, and drive forward a culture of high standards, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence. You will play a central part in shaping the daily experience of pupils, staff, parents, and visitors, ensuring our facilities reflect the ambition and values of a school that consistently ranks among the top performers nationally.
