We are seeking to appoint an engaging full-time English Teacher in the Support for Learning Department. The successful candidate should have expert knowledge of English with a passion for supporting pupils in a small group setting. The candidate will have the ability to motivate and inspire students to make progress in literacy. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, creative and passionate about the sciences and be able to contribute to positive outcomes for our young people and to the wider school community.

Responsibilities

  • Teach English from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
  • Support pupils in a small group setting and help them make progress in literacy.
  • Contribute to positive outcomes for our young people and to the wider school community.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Proven experience of teaching English from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
  • Strong literacy and ICT skills, including use of school databases.
  • Good organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
