We are seeking a proactive, creative and highly organised Marketing and Communications Executive to elevate the school’s reputation through outstanding organic social media, content creation, and press and media relations. This is a content and PR focused role. Located within Chester’s historic Roman walls, The Queen’s School is a vibrant, forward looking independent day school for girls aged 3–18.

Responsibilities

  • Own all organic social media and manage day‑to‑day PR activity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Admissions and Development team on wider marketing campaigns, strategic projects and storytelling opportunities.
  • Surface great stories across the school community, capture content, build relationships, and ensure communications reflect brand values and high standards.
  • Shape compelling stories, generate positive media coverage, and showcase the energy, talent and confidence of pupils, staff and the wider Queen’s community.
  • Work across a range of formats, from high‑energy reels to emotive storytelling and longer‑form thought leadership.

Remuneration

The salary is £27,229.00 per annum.
