We are seeking volunteers for the Royal Hospital School Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Our CCF is a valued part of school life, providing leadership, teamwork, and personal development opportunities to pupils aged 13–18.
The Royal Hospital School is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11 – 18 year olds, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour.

Volunteer role
Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV)
Responsibilities
- Support exciting Saturday morning sessions (10am–12pm).
- Get involved in camps, trips, and adventurous activities throughout the year.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to pupils as part of the CCF team.
- Enjoy full training and wear the provided uniform as part of a friendly, committed team.
Requirements / What you will bring
- Passion about working with young people and ready for a new challenge.
- Enthusiastic about joining the CCF team; military experience is welcome but not required.
- Interest in outdoors, leadership, or youth development; a wide range of skills is valued.
